This assignment taught me a lot about photoshop and the features it offers. I really enjoyed completing this assignment, I found it very fun and enjoyable. It was fun to experiment using different tools to make the photo look the way it does. I was able to personalize it which I liked, I think it adds a lot to the photo by adding people, animals, shadows, and backgrounds to your photo.

I found this assignment to be slightly difficult. It was hard for me to line up the photos properly to make sure the image was not distorted. However, I am happy with the outcome of my photos. I think towards the beginning (the photos in the hallway mural) I struggled to get the correct perspective. But in the photo of the trees in the field I can definitely see my improvement.
This week was a wonderful time to capture photos of the leaves changing colors as we transition into the fall season. We also traveled up north this weekend, and for some reason the colors were behind. But I was still able to capture some great photos of beautiful landscape and nature. I really like taking photos of nature because it's different everyday and you can capture a variety of different types of photos.
This week I learned that it is important to have one focal point in your image so your viewers do not get distracted by other things in your image. Nature is a great way to practice this technique because it is easy to focus in on one item and blur our the rest.
BEFOREAFTERThis assignment was relatively easy for me. Using photoshop we had to remove some gloss from the hood of the car, darken the windshield, crop the image, and make the background black so there were no main things distracting the viewer from the car. I really enjoyed this assignment and I learned a lot from it as well.
All of these images capture a very important memory that I will never forget. I was lucky enough to travel out west and visit a variety of different amazing attractions. I was drawn to the beautiful nature and landscape at many of the places that I had the chance to visit. In these images I was able to focus in on one specific subject while capturing other details around the "main subject" which increased the value of each image in my opinion.
This assignment taught me how to use a variety of different tools in the photoshop application. I now know how to transform a regular photo with regular lighting into a more unique photo while bringing out the lights and darks in the photo. Something that I found difficult while completing this assignment was getting the exposure right so the red, blue, yellow, and green could properly display the shadows in the image.
Steps: 1. Sharpen Photo 2. Adjust Threshold 3. Create Ruler (4 squares) on new page 4. Adjust Hue and Saturation to achieve the colors red, blue, green, and yellow This assignment taught me how to use different functions on my camera. It also taught me how to capture the important things in photos and making sure I capture every detail that can make the photo better. I think this assignment will be very beneficial for me in my future while taking photos of still life, self portraits, or landscape.
All of these photo's stood out to me for a handful of different reasons. I am interested in landscape, nature, and architecture because I think these are the most beautiful things to capture through a camera.
This assignment taught me many different strategies while capturing a variety of different photos. I used to take a picture with out a purpose or a main focus, this assignment made me more aware of the worth of the photo and the importance of the main subject in the photo. This assignment one hundred percent improved my photo taking skills.
